Recently, the city government disclosed that, Hefei was implementing the "Ten Cities, 10000 lamps" semiconductor lighting demonstration project, which proceeds with the planning of urban construction and the development of LED lighting industry. It is planned that by the end of 2013, more than 40,000 LED lighting products will be applied in Hefei city. LED lighting products will cover most streets in the city.
Hefei "Ten Cities, 10000 lamps" semiconductor lighting demonstration project will apply in public places such as Hefei times (main) roads, slip roads, street lighting, shopping malls, squares, railway stations, scenic spots and so on, lighting, residential area and home lighting. Through implementation of demonstration projects, the Hefei LED lighting industry will be promoted and developed. Accordance with relevant regulations, Hefei has also set up the assessing and testing rules of LED lighting products apply demonstration, which adopts the strict accountability and "one-vote veto" system.
