Post subject: Windows 7 - Green Address bar in Windows Explorer Posted: Sun Feb 07, 2010 7:34 am
I have been having problems with Windows 7 Professional being slow.
I get a green bar that slowly scrolls across the windows explorer address bar SOMETIMES when I open a folder. Seems to be a delay when I open a file too because of it. I don't always see the green bar. What is it doing? Scanning something?
Indexing is off and thumbnail previews are disabled.
Any suggestions on how to get rid of it? It doesn't always happen but when it happens, it slows my system down and I get the "hour glass" (hour circle?) and an un-responsive system.
