Hi,
Follow it for setup Time Machine with my Netgear Router.
Step 1: Physically connect the USB hard drive to your Mac.

Step 2: On your Mac, go to Spotlight (or the magnifying glass) located at the top right of the screen and search for Disk Utility.

Step 3: Open the Disk Utility and format your drive, as shown here.

Note-1: The NETGEAR router only supports GUID and MBR partitions. To see how to change the partition scheme, please see "Changing the Partition Scheme" at the bottom part of this page.

Note-2: We suggest using a new USB HDD or formatting your old USB disk to do the Time Machine backup for the first time. Use a blank partition to prevent some issues during backup using Time Machine.

Step 4: Unplug the USB hard drive from your Mac and connect it to the router.

To access the connected USB hard drive from your Mac or PC:

On a Mac: Go > Connect to Server >type: smb: //readyshare
On a PC: Start > Run > type: \\readyshare
Step 5: In the pop-up window, select Registered User, and enter admin as the username and password as the password. Click Connect.
